The
Apple Processors Association holds two industry meetings a
year. The APA Annual Meeting, in June, features programs dealing
with important industry issues such as food safety, packaging,
consumer and economic trends, and waste disposal. It also
provides an invaluable forum through which major processors
and suppliers may meet and develop working relationships.
The
Washington Seminar held in November in Washington, D.C., is
designed to help the industry keep tabs on the policies and
regulations being developed in the Nation's Capital that affect
the apple processing industry.
